Motherhood is far more than a role.
It is lineage.
Energy.
Memory.
Pattern.
Sacrifice.
Creation.
Love.
Wounding.
Healing.
We are shaped by our mothers in ways both visible and invisible.
Sometimes we inherit their tenderness.
Sometimes their fears.
Sometimes their strength.
Sometimes the unresolved pain they themselves inherited from generations before them.
And so often, we expect mothers to be perfect —
forgetting they, too, were once daughters navigating their own wounds, conditioning, grief, survival, and longing.
No mother exists in isolation.
Each woman is part of a living lineage stretching back through centuries of women who endured, nurtured, protected, carried, sacrificed, survived, and loved in the ways they knew how.
This year, I chose to consciously step outside of inherited patterns and begin deeper lineage healing within myself.
Not only for my children —
but for my mother, her mother,
and the generations before them.
The healing was emotional.
Intense.
Sacred.
And the ripples extended far beyond what I could have imagined.
Healing ourselves creates healing within the lineage behind us…
and within the generations ahead of us.
To every mother —
to every woman doing the difficult work of loving, healing, growing, and becoming —
I honor you.
Your story matters.
Your healing matters.
Your presence matters.
May we continue breaking cycles with compassion.
May we continue healing with awareness.
May we continue remembering that even imperfect love can still carry profound transformation.
Happy Mother’s Day 🤍
Grace & Gratitude,
