Let me start of by saying the hair salon ladies tried to gaslight me into believing my cut was fine… I know it’s not as visible on camera but my friend did notice it too but ofcourse reassured me and realized it looked better with my hair tucked behind my ears.
Also any tips on how to fix heat damage plz send them my way☝🏾💕

I’ve definitely been through moments like this where a fresh haircut doesn’t feel right, even though others say it looks fine. It’s so common to feel unsettled especially when some stylists downplay your concerns. One thing that helped me was playing around with styling tricks—like tucking hair behind the ears as I did, which can totally change how a cut looks and make it more flattering. When it comes to heat damage, I found a combination of deep conditioning treatments and minimizing heat styling to be key. I personally used natural oils like argan and coconut oil after washing to restore moisture and shine. Also, protein-rich hair masks or DIY treatments using ingredients like eggs or avocado made a big difference in rebuilding my hair’s strength. Another tip is to avoid heat styling on damp hair and always use a heat protectant spray if you have to use tools. It’s about being gentle and patient with your hair’s recovery process. Adding silk or satin pillowcases can reduce friction and help maintain hair health overnight. For anyone dealing with a less-than-perfect cut or heat-stressed hair, remember you’re not alone. Small changes in styling and care can transform your hair’s look and feel. Plus, embracing your natural texture during recovery lets your hair breathe and heal better. It’s been a journey for me, but sharing these little hacks has helped me regain confidence and healthier hair over time.
