6 tips to start balancing your hormones
“I don’t know where to start” 😫😫
I understand, I was there too. So let’s take it to the basics.
1. Balance your blood sugar by eating protein, fat and carbs everytime you eat. No naked carbs!!! This helps maintain stable energy levels and supports healthy hormones.
2. Manage stress levels. We have to keep those cortisol levels balanced. Take actual rest. The thing is this: if you can’t find time to rest, you won’t have balanced hormones. You have to prioritize self care. I personally love incorporating somatic practices into my daily routine. Even 10-15 minutes is beneficial.
3. Sleeeeep! Aim to be in bed no later than 11pm. Sleep is foundational for optimal health, including balanced hormones.
4. Drink minerals. Stop drinking devoid plan water, add electrolytes and minerals to your water. You can add a high quality sea salt like Maldon’s, or use mineral drops like concentrate mineral drops.
5. Eat every 3-4 hours. This helps keep your blood sugar stable and supports adrenal health. Remember also balanced meals and snacks.
6. Limit seed oils. These can lead to inflammation, and I personally I noticed a huge difference in limiting. Opt for Chosen Foods avocado oil, a high quality olive oil, grass fed butter, ghee, macadamia nut oil, tallow, etc.
start with these, def not an intensive list. & one thing I always like to mention:
-what led you to a place of dysfunction will not get you out of it. You must change your daily behaviors, patterns and habits to see relief from your symptoms.

Balancing hormones is crucial for overall health and wellness. In today's fast-paced world, many individuals struggle with hormonal imbalances that can lead to fatigue, mood swings, and other health issues. One of the first steps in hormone regulation is addressing blood sugar levels. Consuming a balanced meal with protein, fat, and carbohydrates at every meal helps prevent spikes and crashes in blood sugar, which can affect energy and hormone production. Stress is another significant factor contributing to hormonal imbalance. Chronic stress elevates cortisol levels, disrupting the delicate hormonal balance. Implementing relaxation techniques, such as mindfulness or yoga, even for just 10-15 minutes daily, can effectively lower cortisol levels and promote a sense of calm. Quality sleep is foundational in maintaining hormonal health; aiming for 7 or more hours of restorative sleep can help regulate hormones like cortisol and insulin. Sleep hygiene, such as establishing a regular bedtime, limiting screen time before bed, and creating a restful environment, can have profound effects on sleep quality. Hydration also plays a key role in hormonal balance. Dehydration can put additional strain on the body, so incorporating electrolytes and minerals into your water, like a pinch of sea salt, can support overall hydration levels. Eating every 3-4 hours helps maintain stable blood sugar, providing a steady flow of energy and supporting adrenal health, which is crucial for hormone production. Finally, opting for healthier oils, such as avocado oil and olive oil, can help reduce inflammation that often accompanies hormonal imbalances. These tips are a great starting point. Remember, long-term change and consistent self-care are essential for meaningful improvement in hormonal health.
