When I first heard about tons of girls going on daily walks for weight loss, I thought there was absolutely no way. I spent the first year of my fitness journey doing intense cardio workouts, hiit workouts and heavy weight lifting. I felt so angry and exhausted all the time and although I was losing weight, I didnt FEEL good. So I decided to pick up a different approach to my fitness journey.
After I started walking every morning for 30-45 minutes whether outside or on the treadmill, I already started feeling better. My body was more relaxed, I felt more in tune with my feminine energy, and found a new way to workout that I loved.
After a couple months of daily walks and pilates, I was down a whopping 15 pounds. 15!! It was insane. I was the most toned I have ever been and everything on my body slimmed down. My tummy, my legs and even my arms were more lean.
Why should you try it?
- it is SO EASY to stick to
- it is amazing for your mental health and is therapeutic
- your body will feel so wonderful afterwards
- you can meet amazing new people and see beautiful views
- it is so healthy for your mental and physical wellbeing to spend time outdoors
- it is wonderful for joint strength and flexibility
- such an easy and fun way to lose weight
I STRONGLY recommend including walking in your workout regimen if you don’t already. It is such a game changer 😊

Walking is a low-impact exercise that not only promotes weight loss but also boosts metabolism and aids in digestion. As many fitness experts point out, brisk walking can help improve cardiovascular health and strengthen joints without the strain that comes with high-intensity workouts.
Moreover, spending time outdoors while walking is incredibly beneficial for mental clarity and emotional health. Studies have shown that outdoor walking helps reduce anxiety and stress, contributing positively to overall mental well-being. This activity provides the perfect opportunity for self-care, allowing individuals to disconnect from their daily stresses and focus on their natural surroundings.
The social aspect of walking should not be overlooked either. It encourages you to connect with friends or meet new people who share the same interests. Whether walking alone or with a group, the experience can be invigorating and rewarding.
