Apps I’m using to learn Chinese
I’m learning Chinese so I can visit my husband’s family in Shanghai next summer! These are the resources I’ve been using:
DuoLingo
- free with optional paid plan
- gamified learning
- great for beginners
Rosetta Stone
- immersive from lesson 1
- can be expensive
- structured learning paths
HelloChinese
- uses speech recognition
- teaches slang and modern phrases
- smaller community than other apps
