We are back home! Streams will continue either this week or the weekend. Depends if the wifi wants to behave qwq been having problems with it. It's getting worked on today so🤞 it works later! We also have new family members! 6 new chickies! Maybe down the line we will set up a chicken cam in the coop and you lovelies can peek in on them every now and then 😆 definitely will be chicken vids and pics as well. We also don't have names for 5 of them! One of the chocolate Buff Orbingtons is named Penguin so we need some names 😆 there's 2 white Buff Orbingtons, 2 Road Island Reds, and 2 chocolate Buff Orbingtons. Also hope you lovelies had a fantastic week while I was away 🌈
Bringing new animals into a home is always exciting, and welcoming six new chicks certainly adds a lot of life and character to the place! Over the years, I’ve found that choosing chicken breeds like Buff Orpingtons and Rhode Island Reds is a fantastic way to get a mix of friendly personalities and reliable egg layers. Buff Orpingtons, especially, are known for their calm nature and fluffy feathers that make them look like little balls of sunshine. Setting up a chicken cam is such a fun idea. It not only helps you keep an eye on your feathered friends anytime but also allows family, friends, and even viewers online to connect with the chickens’ day-to-day activities. It’s a great way to share the joys (and occasional challenges) of raising backyard chickens—from watching them peck around in the dirt to seeing their personalities develop. Naming chickens is always a blast—it personalizes them and makes the experience even more rewarding. Since one of your chocolate Buff Orpingtons is named Penguin, it sounds like you enjoy quirky and fun names! You might consider creative or themed names for the others, maybe inspired by their colors, personalities, or even some pop culture references. WiFi issues can definitely hold back streaming plans, but patience and troubleshooting will hopefully get your streams up and running soon. During the downtime, documenting and photographing the chicks is a brilliant backup. It captures their growth and lets you build a wonderful library of memories to share with your audience once streaming is back. Overall, integrating these new chicks into your home setting is not just about raising animals; it’s about building a community around the shared love for these charming creatures. Whether it's through videos, photos, or live cams, your followers will surely appreciate the warmth and authenticity you bring to this journey.
