I did a lot of shhh just live this here LIFESTYLE 😮💨.
I went from STOMACH on the BED
to FLAT as BREAD!
Around 3.5 years ago
180lbs🤰🏽 Vs 145lbs (2024)
I had soooo much loose skin after giving birth
but due to eating healthier, working out and drinking a gallon of water a day! The skin decreased tremendously!!! I have a little loose skin by my belly button still.
My #diastisisrecti is finally improving 🥳.
You definitely can achieve just about anything if you set your mind to it!
Shout out to the mothers sacrificing our bodies & life 🏆🫡.
I was so big, everyone kept asking…
Is it twins? 😭😭😭
As someone who also experienced the challenges of postpartum body changes, I can truly relate to the journey of going from "big mama🤰" to feeling strong and confident again. After giving birth, many mothers, including myself, notice loose skin and weakened abdominal muscles, especially with conditions like diastasis recti—a separation of the abdominal muscles common after pregnancy. One key factor that helped me improve my own postpartum body was focusing on consistency rather than perfection. Eating a balanced diet rich in whole foods like vegetables, lean proteins, and healthy fats nourished my body and supported skin elasticity. Drinking plenty of water, as mentioned, is absolutely crucial—hydration helps skin regain firmness and aids overall recovery. Incorporating a combination of low-impact exercises initially, like walking and gentle core strengthening moves, gradually led me to more intense workouts that rebuilt muscle tone and reduced loose skin appearance. Diastasis recti-specific exercises, such as pelvic tilts, heel slides, and modified planks, were essential. I made sure to avoid traditional crunches early on to prevent further muscle separation. Patience and self-love were just as important as the physical work. It’s important to celebrate small milestones, whether it’s noticing a flatter stomach or improved posture. The emotional aspect—accepting and appreciating the body for the incredible job it did bringing new life into the world—is a powerful motivator. For anyone on a similar journey, setting realistic goals and creating a sustainable lifestyle around health and fitness can transform not just your body but also your mindset. Remember, every mother’s timeline is unique, and progress can look different for everyone. With dedication, support, and proper care, the transition from "stomach on the bed to flat as bread" is absolutely achievable.
