The dog named Zuul was not born to be loved; he was only born to earn profit and money, where he was in a breeding setup where earnings were more important than life itself.
He did not choose any of these things himself; neither weak legs nor heart problems nor skin issues. But he had to endure all of these.
He was only 4 years old, but it was difficult for him to walk, and he had a heart murmur, a weak body, and skin pain; everything was against him.
Then he was thrown away like trash.
When he arrived at the vet, he was neither aggressive nor angry; he was just a bit gentle by nature.
His treatment started.
Initially, nothing much was visible; he started losing fur, but inside, he was recovering.
Slowly, he began to feel better; he started to move slowly and feel life.
In 3 weeks, he was surviving and improving. He even underwent surgery for his face, had his eyes fixed, and his breathing improved.
He managed everything.
And then one day came when he finally enjoyed his life; now he is very happy and has a home filled with joy with his new owner.

Dogs like Zuul, bred in setups prioritizing profit over welfare, often endure chronic conditions such as weak joints, heart murmurs, and skin diseases. These ailments not only cause physical pain but also emotional distress, making recovery a long and delicate process.
From personal experience volunteering at animal shelters, I've seen how consistent vet care and patient rehabilitation enable such dogs to regain vitality. The process requires a gradual approach—starting with basic medical treatment to stabilize conditions, followed by surgery if necessary, and importantly, lots of affection and a calm environment.
Zuul’s heart murmur and skin issues, alongside his mobility struggles, highlight common problems seen in commercial breeding victims. However, with attentive treatment, including surgeries to improve his breathing and eye health, Zuul's recovery illustrates that even severely compromised dogs can flourish.
Adopting or fostering a dog with a difficult background demands patience and commitment but is incredibly rewarding. Watching a once-abandoned dog like Zuul learn to trust, enjoy movement, and express joy underscores the transformative power of love and care. This story inspires us all to prioritize animal welfare and challenges us to support rescue efforts for dogs born into hardship.
If you’re considering adopting a rescue dog, be prepared for the ups and downs of their healing journey. But know that with kindness, medical attention, and a safe home, many dogs overcome their past traumas to lead happy, fulfilling lives—just like Zuul.
I would like to see what he looks like now his new self❤️❤️❤️
