Film a sponsored UGC video with me! 💸✨
How I filmed my $150 UGC video with Apothekary:
1. Find a place to film and shoot a bunch of product shots: I always recommend shooting somewhere with natural lighting + clean your camera lens before you start. I also recommend getting more product shots then you need - having a variety will help you when editing
2. Film the voice over / script: I usually write the voice over prior to recording everything so I have time to review it and make the filming/ editing process smoother
3. Collect screenshots: In this particular style of UGC video I needed to collect some screenshots from the website to use in the final video! I also like to use other pop ups to help the video stand out
4. Edit + send: I use CapCut to edit all of my content! I love how user friendly it is + it has a ton of features you can use to make your videos pop. Once the video is complete, I will send it to the brand using a wetransfer link and wait for review/ revisions!

User-Generated Content (UGC) is becoming essential for brands aiming to authentically connect with their audience. By shooting effective UGC videos, you can offer brands genuine testimonials and product demonstrations that resonate with consumers. 1. **Finding the Right Filming Location:** The ambiance is crucial. Consider spaces with ample natural light to enhance video quality. Additionally, ensure that your filming area is clutter-free to focus the viewer’s attention on the product. 2. **Script into Action:** A well-prepared script not only streamlines the shooting process but also enhances the quality of your voiceover. Allocate time to review your script so you can articulate your thoughts smoothly during recording. 3. **Gathering Visuals:** Including screenshots from the brand's website can add valuable context to your video, making it more informative for viewers. Integrating pop-up graphics can also intensify engagement. 4. **Editing with CapCut:** CapCut is highly recommended for editing due to its user-friendly interface and vast array of features. Utilize transitions, effects, and text overlays to elevate your video’s production value. After editing, send the draft to the brand via a trusted file transfer service for their feedback and revisions. 5. **The Importance of Feedback:** Always be open to revisions from the brand. Constructive criticism can help enhance the final output, ensuring it aligns with their marketing goals. With these tips, you can create impactful UGC videos that help brands succeed!
