Day 25 of My 30-Day Arm Challenge! I have seen a lot of comments about this challenge so wanted to address a few things. Do I notice a difference? Yes! Both visual and strength wise. For those “I’m sorry I don’t the measurements don’t lie so 😅”. You are going to injure yourself you do this everyday. You are in charge of your body. I have rested. I have skipped. You go at your own pace. If your 30 days are in 60 who cares. You are in charge of you I am in charge of me. Weights I use, 5 lbs, 8 lbs and 10 lbs.

I built this program myself, and I’m excited to see the strength and growth that comes from it.

Here’s the workout:

• 4 sets x 12 reps — Lateral Servers

• 4 sets x 12 reps — Around the Worlds

• 4 sets x 12 reps — Scarecrows

• 4 sets x 12 reps — Tricep Pulses

• 4 sets x 12 reps — Front servers

• 4 sets x 12 reps — Bicep Curls (last set = AMRAP)

• 4 sets x 12 reps— overhead tricep extensions

Finished strong with 50 reps on the final bicep curl set 🔥

Let’s see what we can do in 30 days together. #pcos #midsize #michiganmom #bingeeatingrecovery #bodydysmorphia

... Read moreTaking on a 30-day arm challenge can be both motivating and transformative. From my own experience with similar routines, pacing yourself is key. Emily’s approach to rest and listening to your body is crucial, as daily intense workouts risk injury without proper recovery. I found that varying weights between light and moderate (around 5 to 10 lbs) maximizes muscle growth while reducing strain. The exercises mentioned such as Lateral Servers, Around the Worlds, and Tricep Pulses are excellent for targeting different arm muscles including shoulders, triceps, and biceps, helping create balanced arm strength and definition. The concept of AMRAP (as many reps as possible) used in the last bicep curl set can be especially effective for boosting endurance and encouraging muscle fatigue leading to growth — but it should be performed with proper form and not at the expense of joint safety. Overhead tricep extensions are great for isolating the triceps, and combining these with varying reps and sets ensures you challenge your muscles consistently. From my experience, incorporating small breaks or lighter days, such as doing fewer sets or reps, can help mitigate fatigue and prevent burnout over the 30 days. Another tip: track your progress not only visually but also by how your strength improves over time. Measuring arm circumference can give tangible proof of growth but always align that with how you feel physically. Posture and form during these exercises are just as important as reps to avoid injury. Lastly, if you’re managing conditions like PCOS or recovery from binge eating or body dysmorphia as Emily tags, always tailor the intensity to your energy levels and mental health. The goal is progress, not perfection, and going at your own pace ensures sustainability and safety over the full challenge duration. Overall, the combination of Emily’s structured workout and mindful pacing creates a comprehensive arm challenge that can deliver real results with the right mindset and consistency.
