I started this journey expecting to fail… because every time before, that’s exactly what happened.

Today, I hit one of the biggest milestones of my life: 100 pounds lost. ❤️

But the biggest transformation wasn’t my workouts or the food on my plate.

It was the work no one could see.

The healing.

The mindset.

The conversations I had with myself.

The decision to stop trying to shrink my body and start becoming the best version of me.

That shift changed everything.

Instead of waking up focused on everything I thought was wrong, I started celebrating every small win. Every workout. Every nourishing meal. Every promise I kept to myself.

Over time, those small wins became a new life.

The work didn’t get easier.

I got stronger.

So if you’re just starting, please give yourself more grace than criticism. Motivation will come and go, but the mindset you build will carry you through the hard days.

Keep showing up.

Keep choosing yourself.

Because one day you’ll realize the greatest transformation wasn’t just the weight you lost…

It was the person you became along the way. ❤️

... Read moreWhen I began my weight loss journey, I never imagined reaching the milestone of 100 pounds lost. What helped me most wasn’t just the workouts or diet changes, but rather the inner transformation. I embraced a mindset focused on self-compassion and healing instead of punishment and shame. I often struggled with external doubts—people saying things like “She’s never going to change” or questioning if I even ate healthily. Those voices could easily deter anyone, but I learned to tune them out and instead celebrate every progression, no matter how small. From nourishing meals to consistent workouts, acknowledging these wins helped build momentum and stronger self-belief. Living with PCOS presented additional challenges, especially relating to weight and hormonal balance. I found that understanding my body’s unique needs, rather than comparing myself to others, was critical. Recovery from binge eating and managing body dysmorphia also taught me to foster patience and kindness toward myself. The journey is not linear and will test your resolve, but grace for yourself during hard days is essential. Motivation might ebb and flow, but cultivating a resilient mindset sustains progress. The shift from focusing on shrinking my body to becoming the best version of myself has been liberating. If you’re starting out, remember that the greatest transformation lies not only in pounds lost but in the growth of your spirit and confidence. Keep showing up, keep choosing you, and honor every step you take toward wellness. The progress you make might surprise you—and it will empower you far beyond the scale.
