♦️Contemporary Romance

♦️Second Chance Romance

♦️Friends to Lovers

♦️Cancer Patient FMC

♦️Soulmate Type Connection

♦️Angsty & Emotional

♦️Fade To Black Spice

💭 This one is so flipping heart wrenching, and angsty. It does have a HEA. So if you’re unsure if you want to read it because of that I will go ahead, and say that. I dont consider that a spoiler as 99% of romance books are HEA. Ones like this though can be iffy though. I also know many readers wont pick up a book if it doesn’t have one soooo. Anyways moving on…. This book had me in my feels. Obviously, with a romance story involving cancer you are going to have all the feels. But this one just broke me. Here I would be like woot woot! Things are gonna be sunshine, and rainbows…. Then BAM ripped my heart out (and not why you’re probably thinking). It isnt really a slow burn, it is a insta feeling type thing… but yet it isn’t a insta relationship. The book is very much a star crossed lovers type of vibe. The book also is a fade to black spice. So it is a great read for those who arent in the mood for a spicy book, or don’t really like spice.

💬 This is an emotional Contemporary Romance. The romance in this book is friends to lovers. The book is an adult book with adult relationships, and themes. The book does still remain clean as the spicy scenes are fade to black. The book moves at a steady pace as Elliot, and Jamie meet the night before a medical procedure that can determine Elliots fate. Elliot not wanting to risk heart ache is leaving everything a mystery with Jamie, including even her name. A year later Elliot moves closer to the hospital she had her procedure at, for connivence and to start her life. While there she gets to meet the woman who saved her life. She never imagined she would also see the man who stole her heart a year ago too. This was a heart wrenching read that easily enchants you from the very beginning.

... Read moreDiving deeper into 'If Tomorrow Never Comes,' I have to say, this book truly lives up to its promise of being an emotional rollercoaster. For anyone searching for a read that makes your heart ache (in a good way!) or leaves you feeling that 'scared' vulnerability for the characters, this contemporary romance delivers. It's not a psychological thriller, but the emotional intensity and the high stakes of a cancer patient FMC certainly give it a gripping depth that can feel just as profound. What really sets this story apart is how the author crafts such a beautiful, angsty journey towards a happily ever after. The friends-to-lovers and second-chance tropes are handled with such tenderness and raw honesty. You genuinely feel the protagonists' struggles with uncertainty, their fear of opening up, and the powerful, almost fated connection they share. It's the kind of book that makes you ponder what you'd do if tomorrow truly never came, but ultimately leaves you with a feeling of hope and the enduring power of love. And speaking of the book, have you taken a moment to appreciate the cover? The pink background with that striking purple tree, two people on a yellow bench, and even a blue dog – it really sets a unique, almost bittersweet tone that perfectly matches the story inside. It hints at the tender, poignant moments you'll find within its pages, a visual metaphor for the blend of melancholy and hope. For those who loved the emotional depth and compelling narrative here, and are curious about other works by this talented writer, I'd definitely recommend checking out 'Would You Rather.' It shares that same knack for crafting heartfelt, character-driven stories. This book is a must-read if you appreciate romance that isn't afraid to explore vulnerability, loss, and the fight for happiness, all wrapped up in a beautifully written package with a guaranteed HEA.
