My involvements as a sophomore in College 🫶

As a sophomore in college, involvement in various activities can enhance your experience, making it richer and more fulfilling. In my journey, I've joined the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion committee within the student government, which allows me to advocate for inclusivity on campus. This role not only supports my personal growth but also enables me to represent diverse voices in our college community. Additionally, my role as the sustainability chair for the UTHRIFT the PLANET shop emphasizes the importance of environmental responsibility. By implementing sustainable practices and hosting eco-friendly events, I'm committed to making a positive impact. Balancing academics with extracurricular pursuits requires effective time management and prioritization. I find that engaging in clubs and committees gives me opportunities to network, develop leadership skills, and apply classroom knowledge in real-world scenarios. This involvement plays a crucial role in building a well-rounded college experience.
