How to Prevent Acne the Right Way 🌟

I want to share the mistakes I made in my acne journey to help others avoid the same pitfalls 😊✨

✅ The 3-Step Acne Care Routine

1⃣ Proper Oil Control

Use oil-controlling products and setting powders daily, and choose physical sunscreen that helps with oil control. Periodically using a clay mask to absorb excess oil can also be very effective. This will prevent oil build-up and reduce acne formation.

2⃣ Lightweight Hydration

Oily skin beauties, stop using thick creams! If your skin is already so oily you feel like washing it 800 times a day, why add heavy creams on top? Your skin’s natural oils already act as moisturizers. In winter, when it’s dry, simply using a B5 serum for hydration is enough—this gives moisture without the added greasiness.

3⃣ Cleansing

For oily acne-prone skin, cleansing isn’t just about washing the surface; it’s also about unclogging pores to prevent dead skin cells from blocking them. I recommend using oil-soluble ingredients like salicylic acid and mandelic acid, as they can break down oil. Start with low-concentration acid products—they’re gentle and effective in keeping your skin fresh and preventing clogged pores.

This acne cream has been my savior during my long acne journey! 💖 Whenever I feel a pimple coming up, I apply a little dot of this on it. It’s perfect for sudden flare-ups, and unlike other products, it doesn’t leave my skin feeling tight or dry. Instead, it nourishes the skin and has no harsh stinging sensation. It's great for long-term use.
