Attending The Original Edmonton Witches Market was such a refreshing experience for me. As someone who loves supporting local artisans, I was thrilled to discover over 40 vendors showcasing their handcrafted goods. From beautiful jewelry to mystical-themed art, every stall had something unique to offer. One highlight was indulging in the creative array of beverages like iced coffees and the intriguingly named dirty sodas, which gave the event a fun and casual vibe. The market wasn’t just about shopping — the mini photo shoots gave attendees a chance to capture memories, while the availability of piercings and tattoos added an unexpected edge to the atmosphere. What truly made my visit special was being among the first 20 people in line, earning a goodie bag filled with surprises from different vendors. It felt like a small reward for early risers and made the whole experience even more memorable. The event’s location at the Bellevue Community League was easy to find, and the community spirit was palpable. It was inspiring to see such a gathering that brings together creativity, local culture, and entertainment in Edmonton. Whether you’re a local or just exploring the city, attending this market is an enjoyable way to discover local talent and enjoy a lively weekend activity. For anyone planning to visit, I recommend going early to grab the goodie bag and allow yourself plenty of time to explore all the offerings. The friendly vendors are eager to share their stories, so don’t hesitate to chat and learn more about their crafts.
