Foggy skies couldn’t hide the beauty of this morning’s sunrise over East Beach here on Galveston Island, Texas. Caught it all in a time lapse—haze and all.
Toward the end of the video, you’ll spot the silhouette of a young man who politely asked if it was okay to fish nearby. Good manners still exist, y’all. He waded into the surf, made a few casts, and pulled in what looked like a solid keeper—maybe 20 inches or so, even from where I was standing.
You’ll also catch a few cargo ships sliding past and some tiny fishing boats making their way out to deeper water.
