Day 5 September challenge: walking pad edition

United States
2025/9/5 Edited to

... Read moreHey everyone! So glad you're following along with my September Challenge journey. You saw my quick update for Day 5, hitting that 30-minute mark on my walking pad, and I wanted to dive a bit deeper into why this simple routine has been a game-changer for me and how you can incorporate it into your life, especially if you're aiming for a 30-day walking challenge or simply looking for a consistent workout. Doing just 30 minutes on a walking pad every day might sound easy, but the consistency is where the magic happens. For me, it’s not just about hitting a step count; it’s about building a sustainable habit. I've found that even on busy days, those 30 minutes are achievable. It helps me clear my head, gets my blood pumping, and honestly, it’s been fantastic for my energy levels. Plus, when I started this whole #walkingtoloseweight journey, I realized how crucial regular movement is. The walking pad allows me to get my workout in, rain or shine, day or night – no excuses! If you're thinking about starting your own walking pad routine or a longer walking challenge, here are a few things I’ve learned that might help keep you motivated: First, make it enjoyable! Thirty minutes can feel long if you're just staring at a wall. I love catching up on my favorite podcasts or even watching an episode of a show. Sometimes I'll put on an upbeat playlist, and before I know it, the time has flown by. This makes it less of a chore and more of a personal treat. Second, set small, achievable goals. For my September Challenge, I committed to 30 minutes daily. Breaking it down by day, like reaching Day 5 and celebrating that milestone, really helps. If a full 30 minutes feels too much initially, start with 15 and gradually increase. It's about building momentum, not perfection. Third, track your progress. This is where a 30 day walking challenge app could come in super handy! While I'm just using a simple timer for my 30 minutes, some apps can track your speed, distance, and even calories burned. Seeing those numbers stack up over the weeks is incredibly motivating and shows you how far you've come. It also helps reinforce the positive habit you're building. Finally, listen to your body. Some days you might feel like pushing a bit harder, other days a steady pace is all you need. The goal is consistency and making movement a part of your daily life. This 30 minutes on my walking pad has become a non-negotiable part of my routine, helping me feel stronger and more focused. I truly believe that incorporating even a short, consistent walk into your day, especially with the convenience of a walking pad, can make a huge difference in your overall well-being. Let's keep moving and encourage each other on this journey!

walking 10k steps every day for a week *results*
as soon as I’m able to move again you best believe I’m going after 15k steps 👀 but for real… if you’re a 9-5 girl or in school and trying to get in 10k steps a day here’s exactly what I would do: - invest in a walking pad. It truly makes it 10x easier. You can walk while you work, watch tv,

Walking 10K steps a day!
I have goal for the month of June to try and walk 10k steps a day! I work a fast paced job, so I am always on my feet when I’m working, but on my days off, I usually hit maybe 3-4K steps. I live in an environment where it’s extremely hot during the summer time, so I decided to buy a walking pad!
