This pause creates space to respond thoughtfully rather than impulsively. It’s not about suppressing emotions but about understanding them and choosing how to express yourself in a way that aligns with your inner peace. Over time, this practice has led me to notice fewer disruptions by external negativity. I experience greater control over my energy and mindset, which boosts both my personal and professional relationships. Powerful women, and anyone seeking emotional intelligence, benefit from this approach because it fosters resilience. Emotional regulation is a skill that requires consistent practice, such as journaling feelings, mindfulness meditation, or even setting boundaries that protect your well-being.
