about me ~
1. i love to read - i’m an english major, studying to be an english teacher. i have loved to read since i was little and have to do it allllll the time for school.
2. i crochet - i’ve been crocheting since i was in 6th grade. i do it off and on, and am considering starting a small business and selling my creations!
3. my favorite artists - i LOVE taylor swift and hozier! i’ve been listening to taylor since her debut album (i was literally 2). i discovered hozier probably two or three years ago and i LOVE him and his music. i have a tattoo for both artists! peak lyricism
4. my favorite book series: ACOTAR. rhysand has my entire heart and nobody will ever take that from me. i also have his tattoo on my knee.
5. i love theatre! i got super into theatre in high school - my first musical was beauty and the beast (i played mrs. potts). my senior year i played the lead in our musical Emma! I also stage managed in high school and have continued to do so in college. I served as Assistant Stage Manager for Ride the Cyclone, and Stage Manager for Cinderella. This semester I will get to stage manage Emma!
6. i have two cats - Verb (orange) and Frodo (tuxedo).
7. LGBTQ+ safe space - i have been going to Pride for a few years now and I am a part of the community!
8. my favorite colors - green and pink! (green has been my favorite color for the longest time and recently pink has made its way in there as well!)
As an English major, my life is intertwined with literature and artistry. Books have always provided an escape and a deep connection to creativity. Crocheting since middle school, I find joy in crafting handmade items. Taylor Swift and Hozier inspire my musical taste with their incredible lyricism, and I’ve expressed this love through tattoos. The ACOTAR series, particularly Rhysand's character, has had a profound impact on me, highlighting themes of love and resilience. Theater has been a significant part of my life since high school, where I gained valuable experience as an actor and stage manager. It's a thrilling combination of creativity, teamwork, and performance art. In addition to my passions, I cherish my two cats, Verb and Frodo, who bring joy to my life. Being a part of the LGBTQ+ community enriches my experiences further, as I celebrate pride and advocate for safe spaces. My favorite colors, green and pink, reflect my vibrant spirit and love for creativity.
