When tarkov bosses are angy ✨

... Read moreOh man, you guys know exactly what I'm talking about when Big Pipe, Birdeye, and Knight decide to go full 'angry mode' in Tarkov! I swear, sometimes it feels like they're personally targeting you. I just had a raid where they were absolutely throwing a fit, and it made me think about how insane these boss encounters can get. For anyone brave (or foolish!) enough to hunt these guys, also known as 'The Goons', you know they're not your average scavs. Each one has their own unique flavor of aggression. Big Pipe is usually the flanker, getting in close with his shotgun or SMG, while Birdeye is the tactical one, often trying to get an angle on you from a distance with his DMR. And Knight? He's the powerhouse, typically leading the charge with heavy firepower, often an RPK or an M4. My personal strategy for dealing with these three is never to engage them head-on if I can help it. They have incredible aim and often push relentlessly. One time, I was trying to complete 'Friends from Norvinsk Part 1', which involves taking down some tough targets, and these guys popped up instead. Talk about an unexpected challenge! I learned quickly that patience is key. Using cover, breaking line of sight, and trying to isolate them one by one is far more effective than trying to brute force it. I've found great success focusing on Birdeye first if possible, as his long-range accuracy can be devastating. Then, it's usually Knight, who is a bullet sponge. Big Pipe can be tricky because he's so mobile. High-flesh damage ammo is your best friend here, and always have a way to disengage and heal. Don't forget that they often wear high-tier armor, so aiming for legs or headshots (if you're feeling lucky) is crucial. If you're like me and working through quests like 'Friends from Norvinsk Part 1', encountering these guys can be a blessing or a curse. A blessing if you're prepared, a curse if you're caught off guard. Always be aware of their potential spawn locations – Customs, Shoreline, and Lighthouse are their usual haunts. Knowing their patrol routes and typical engagement distances can give you a massive advantage. Good luck out there, fellow PMC, and try not to get too angry yourself when they inevitably send you back to your stash!
