Another dice roll picked by y’all and it landed me at Sorrento’s Italian Restaurant 🍝🇮🇹 Really good spot with solid Italian food all around. I went with the seafood pescatore and definitely enjoyed my meal. This is one of them places I’ll be coming back to for sure.

The seafood pescatore was a rich medley of fresh seafood perfectly cooked and served over a bed of delectable pasta. The combination of flavors was both comforting and exciting to the palate. Beyond the pescatore, Sorrento’s offers a variety of traditional dishes that cater to all tastes—whether you’re craving savory manicotti, classic sauces like bolognese, or creative options such as the gorgonzola cream with angel hair pasta, as other diners have recommended. The restaurant’s dedication to quality ingredients and homemade preparations really shines through. From my experience and chats with locals, Sorrento’s is regarded as an old-school Italian gem in Statesville, often praised for its rich sauces and hearty portions. It’s also worth noting the friendly and attentive service which enhances the overall dining experience. Whether you're a local or just passing through North Carolina, stopping by Sorrento’s to indulge in their seafood pasta or one of their other Italian specialties is an excellent choice. I’m already planning my next visit to sample more of their authentic offerings.
