Make it normal to buy things just because

I usually almost never get anything for myself and when I do I usually feel guilty. Today I got this stand up plushie just for me and I feel a huge accomplishment at not feeling like I didn’t deserve it. 🥰#shareyourthoughts

... Read moreMany people struggle with feelings of guilt when it comes to spending money on themselves. However, treating yourself occasionally can significantly boost your mental well-being. Self-compassion is crucial; it allows you to acknowledge your worth and celebrate achievements, no matter how small. Consider why we often prioritize others over ourselves and how this impacts our happiness. Additionally, guilt-free spending can enhance your overall quality of life. It fosters a positive mindset and encourages self-love, helping you to feel more engaged and fulfilled. Start by identifying the things that bring you joy and allow yourself to enjoy them without remorse. Remember, investing in yourself isn’t selfish; it’s necessary for a balanced life. Explore self-care routines that suit your lifestyle, and remember that it's perfectly okay to indulge in things that make you smile, like a cute plushie or a special treat.
