In my experience, the key to a perfect salmon bowl starts with selecting high-quality salmon, ideally wild-caught for better flavor and nutrition. I usually bake or pan-sear the salmon with a simple seasoning of lemon, garlic, and herbs to keep it light and healthy. For the bowl base, I alternate between brown rice, quinoa, or mixed greens depending on my mood and nutritional goals. Adding a variety of colorful vegetables like avocado, cucumber, carrots, and edamame not only creates an appealing look but also boosts the nutrient content. What makes meal prepping salmon bowls even better is how well the components hold up in the fridge. You can prepare several bowls in advance, storing the salmon and veggies separately from the base to keep everything fresh. Then, assembling them before eating takes only a few minutes.
