It’s down time!! Otis is outgrowing the couch!!

3/6 Edited to

... Read moreWatching Otis grow day by day has been such a rewarding experience. Bloodhounds are known for their large size and gentle temperament, so it's natural for them to quickly outgrow their favorite resting spots like the couch. As Otis grows, I’ve noticed he needs more space to stretch and move comfortably, which means upgrading his resting area becomes necessary. It’s important to remember that puppies, especially large breeds like bloodhounds, go through rapid growth phases that affect their joints and muscles. Providing them ample downtime to relax is crucial, but so is ensuring the resting surface supports their physical development. I've learned that a couch that was cozy for a small puppy no longer meets Otis’s needs, and investing in orthopedic dog beds can really help. Additionally, watching Otis transition from a playful puppy to a more mature dog brings its own joys and challenges. More energy means more outdoor time and exercise, but also more need for a comfy place to recuperate after those adventures. For any bloodhound owner, recognizing these stages and adapting your home environment ensures your pet’s comfort and happiness. If you have a similar experience with your growing puppy, sharing those moments and solutions can make a big difference for others navigating this phase. Otis’s story is a reminder that our pets’ needs evolve with them, and being attentive to these changes ensures they thrive both physically and emotionally.

A handwritten note on lined paper titled 'Why Do I Often feel SAD when I'm healing?' features an illustration of a sad person under a rain cloud. The note explains reasons for sadness during healing, including releasing buried emotions, grieving losses, letting go of old identities, and making space for joy, with supporting text for each point.

17 Signs You’re Entering a New Season of Life (without noticing)
Sometimes life doesn’t shift loudly… It shifts quietly. In your thoughts. In your priorities. In what you no longer tolerate. In what no longer feels right. You start craving peace over noise. Clarity over confusion. Purpose over comfort. And even though it feels uncomfortable…

Let’s Talk: Outgrowing Friendships Is OK
We don’t talk about this enough. It’s one of the hardest things to accept, but it’s also one of the most important for growth. Sometimes we hold onto connections out of history, not harmony. As you evolve, your circle might shift, and that’s okay. Not every friendship is meant to last forever, and
