Dusk by Mok Mok Honest Review (HALAL)🍋✨🥰😍🏝

🍵DRINKS WERE meh… couldn’t really get what I was tasting exactly…

🍟Fries was really meh as well… the sauce was a big minus point … as it was pretty tasteless

🍝Cabonara was AMAZING! portion was huge! very filling & the sauce was really yummy too!!! but RM42 is a bit 😬😅🥴

Overall it’s a very chill place ~ do come down to try and let me know what u think :))

Dusk by Mok Mok

... Read moreIf you're planning a visit to Dusk by Mok Mok, here’s a tip: definitely try the Truffle Mushroom Carbonara. It’s the standout dish with a rich, creamy sauce and generous portions that fill you up well. Though priced at RM42, I found it worth it for the quality and taste. On the other hand, the fries paired with sauce were quite bland, so I'd suggest skipping that if you're seeking flavors that pop. Regarding drinks, I sampled the Pink Matcha and Brown Matcha, both around RM16 to RM18, but honestly, they lacked distinct flavors, rating about 5/10 in my book. If you’re a drink enthusiast looking for a punchy beverage, you might be a bit disappointed here. Apart from food, the cafe's atmosphere is really chill and welcoming, ideal for casual hangouts or catching up with friends. Located at 49, Jalan Perang, Taman Pelangi, the spot is convenient for locals in JB. Novices or regulars to halal cafes would appreciate the relaxed environment and the quality halal offerings. If you're curious about other menu highlights, the Curry Karaage Risotto is a recommendable option too, with a pleasant flavor profile scoring around 7/10. For a balanced visit, focus on mains rather than sides or drinks. Overall, Dusk by Mok Mok offers a lovely halal dining experience with some hits and misses but plenty of charm. It’s great to see more halal cafes popping up in JB with unique takes on classic dishes. Try it and see what you think!
