Using silver cat eye polish over a custom sheer blue with blue iridescent chrome
Hey everyone! So thrilled you're loving my new 'Icy nails My December set' as much as I am! When I started this, I honestly didn't have a solid plan, but the magic of silver cat eye polish layered over a custom sheer blue with that gorgeous blue iridescent chrome just came together perfectly. It truly gives off the most enchanting, frosty vibe, ideal for these colder months. It's amazing how a design can evolve into something so beautiful and feel so me for the season. Speaking of December and winter, this time of year is just fantastic for experimenting with nail art. While my icy blue is definitely a standout for me right now, there are so many other stunning nail colors for December that I've been eyeing. Classic deep reds like burgundy and cranberry always make a comeback, bringing that cozy, festive feel. Then there are the forest greens and dark navies, which look incredibly chic and sophisticated. And you can't forget about glitter and metallics! Golds, silvers, and rose golds add that perfect touch of sparkle, especially for holiday parties. I've seen some gorgeous designs incorporating snowflakes or subtle glitter gradients that are just breathtaking. For those who love a bit of sparkle, iridescent chrome, like what I used, is a game-changer. It catches the light so beautifully and adds such a unique dimension to any color. If you're thinking about trying a similar look, don't be afraid to experiment with different base colors under your cat eye or chrome powders. A sheer pink with a pearly chrome could give a completely different, softer winter wonderland feel – maybe even a nod to spring 2026 gel nails trends when pastels make a comeback, but with a winter twist! Gel nails, in general, are my go-to for lasting shine and intricate designs like this one, as they really lock in the look and keep your nails chip-free through all the holiday hustle and bustle. To keep your beautiful nails looking their best through the cold weather, remember to moisturize your cuticles daily with a good cuticle oil. Dry winter air can be really harsh, and healthy cuticles make a huge difference in how polished your manicure looks. Also, don't forget to wear gloves when doing chores to protect your stunning December set! It's all about making your manicure last as long as possible so you can enjoy every bit of your chosen design. What winter nail colors or styles are you all rocking this month?

Those are so pretty!
