My Favorite Bookish Apps!

1. Libby ✨- My absolute favorite app for audiobooks! I’m a big audiobook girly, and I go through a book within 1-2 days so having a free option is well appreciated. I love to use audiobooks as a companion when I read a book and/or hear it on its own. (Library Card is needed)

2. Kindle App 🔖 - This is where I store all my ebooks and downloaded books. This app is what I prefer to use to read and organize all my ebooks.

(I have it on my iPhone, Mac, iPad, etc and it all syncs together wherever I decide to read it. / It is NOT necessary to have an actual Kindle Tablet to be able to use the Kindle App).

5. Bookmory - This is the app that I prefer to use to TRACK all of my books. I also love the statistics it offers, and it’s easy & clean interface. It’s free and has so much to offer! I am surprised not many people know about this app, and the ones that do know - they know that it’s top tier even for it’s free basic version.

4. Goodreads - The OG book tracker / review app. I do track and organize some of my books on this app, but I don’t record all. I love Goodreads to search for recommendations amongst friends and reviewers, and to leave/read reviews. It’s easy to use, but it could use big updates esp on the app, and a better interface.

6. Book Tracker - ReadTracker - I recently downloaded this app. It’s a fairly new app, BUT I genuinely think that this app will blow all the book tracking apps out of the water down the line. It has all the best qualities and items that a book tracking app should have, and I love that the developer is constantly updating and adding great features. He’s on it! (I did pay a yearly fee for it and I also changed the app icon).

7. Margins - It’s also a book tracking app, but I don’t track my books here. I only use this app to save all the book series I want to read, and to know the orders of the books.

... Read moreIn today's digital age, bookish apps have transformed how we read, track, and discover new titles. Here’s a closer look at some of the standout features of these essential tools: 1. **Libby**: This app is celebrated for its seamless access to audiobooks and eBooks through local libraries. With a simple interface, it allows users to borrow titles easily using just their library card. Audiobooks are perfect companions for multitasking, whether commuting or doing household chores. 2. **Kindle App**: Kindle's app extends beyond just e-readers; it's a complete ecosystem for managing all your digital books across devices. It syncs notes, bookmarks, and reading progress, ensuring a smooth reading experience whether you are on your mobile, tablet, or computer. 3. **Goodreads**: An invaluable tool for readers, Goodreads enables users to track their reading goals, leave reviews, and find personalized book recommendations based on friends' reading habits. The community aspect also fosters discussions and recommendations, making it a favorite among book lovers. 4. **Bookmory**: This lesser-known app focuses on tracking reading stats and habits, featuring a clean interface that is user-friendly. It's particularly appreciated for its ability to provide comprehensive analytics, helping readers to understand their reading patterns better and set goals accordingly. 5. **ReadTracker**: This app is making waves in the book tracking community for its intuitive features and regular updates from its developer. Users love its robust data management capabilities, making tracking their reading journey enjoyable and effortless. 6. **Margins**: While primarily a book tracking app, Margins is unique as it helps readers manage a wish list of series they aim to explore. The emphasis on series order and availability makes this app useful for readers eager to dive deeper into literary worlds. 7. **Social Media Integration**: Each of these apps supports social features, which is a connective element in the modern reading experience. Whether sharing updates on #bookstagram or comparing notes on #booktok, readers are now part of a larger community where books are celebrated and discussed. With these apps at your fingertips, reading becomes not just a hobby but a vibrant community experience. Explore each app to find the perfect fit for your reading style and preferences!

I read a lot. I’ve found several Bookish apps that I love and use often. I use Bookshelf to keep track of my physical books. You can scan the isbn to make sure you’re not buying duplicates. Book Buddy also works great. Fable is a reading tracker. It works similarly to Goodreads. #bookapps #readi
