MT30: 30mins HIIT boxing class 🥊🥊🥊

Tried the MT30 30-min HIIT boxing class with Terrence , it really felt like a cardio endurance session. I was lowkey dying throughout the 30 mins but still manageable. that kind of “I’m suffering but okay lah can finish” vibe.

I went early since it was my first time, and Terrence gave me a super quick speed run-through of the boxing combos + form. Honestly that saved me, because otherwise I would not know what the numbers on the screen meant. Thanks to that mini crash course, I was able to keep up with the class properly.

Punching bags were nicely spaced out, and the room was dark enough that you can just do your own pace with zero pressure. Definitely beginner-friendly.

Facilities are basic but functional — lockers, gloves provided, and a small reception area with a screen showing your name + assigned bag number. bring your own handwarp

That said… personally I didn’t enjoy it much. After a while, I got bored of punching the bag even though they switched up the combos. And because it’s only 30 mins, I’m not sure how effective it is as a full workout. Felt a bit too short for me.

Will I return? Probably not, mainly because I’m not a fan of cardio-focused classes. But if you want to clock your cardio, sweat it out fast, and prefer a class you can just “zone out” and follow… this is a good one to try.

... Read moreIf you're considering the MT30 HIIT boxing class, it's worth noting that the workout is designed to push your cardio limits within a short 30-minute session. The setup includes punching bags spaced apart and gloves provided, making it easy to jump right in. However, because the class focuses heavily on cardio and repetitive combos, it might feel monotonous if you prefer more varied or strength-focused training. For those new to boxing, the initial speed run-through of combos is really helpful in understanding the routine, especially when combo numbers appear on the screen. This supportive approach helps beginners keep pace without feeling lost. One tip: bring your own hand wraps since only gloves are provided, and remember that lockers and a simple reception area are available if you come early. In terms of effectiveness, a 30-minute duration might not satisfy all fitness enthusiasts—especially those looking for longer sessions or more strength training components. But if you'd like a quick, sweat-inducing cardio workout that lets you zone out and follow along easily, MT30 could be a good fit. The darkened room ambiance provides a pressure-free environment, encouraging you to focus solely on your pace and technique. Overall, while the class might not become everyone’s regular choice, it offers a solid cardio boxing experience for anyone wanting an efficient HIIT session in Singapore.
