Skill Compounds. Talent Fades
People treat investing like it’s talent-based, like you either “have it” or you don’t.
That belief is convenient, but it’s wrong.
Investing is a performance skill. The job is not to be right all the time. The job is to build a decision-making process that survives uncertainty.
One common trait I've seen in successful investors is that a skilled investor doesn’t depend on predictions. They depend on rules: risk control, time horizon discipline, and emotional restraint. Because over the long run, your biggest gains don’t come from one lucky move, they come from fewer expensive mistakes repeated over years.
Keep in mind that Luck is fragile while Skill is scalable.
