My Mountaineer Cauldron Chili Recipe:

*Ingredients*
2ย poundsย ground beef
2ย celery stalks, small diced
2ย cupsย frozen peppers and onions
2ย (15 ounce)ย cans tomato sauce
2ย (14.5 ounce)ย cans stewed tomatoes
16ย ounceย can dark red kidney beans, undrained
15ย ounceย can chili beans in sauce, undrained
10ย ounceย can diced tomatoes and green chilies, undrained
1ย cupย low-sodium beef broth
1.25ย ounceย packet chili seasoning
1ย Tablespoonย granulated sugar
1ย Tablespoonย white vinegar
2ย teaspoonsย garlic powder
2ย teaspoonsย onion powder
1ย teaspoonย black pepper
1ย teaspoon kosher saltย (or to taste)
Instructions
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, addย 2 pounds ground beef. Break it up into crumbles and cook, stirring occasionally, until there is no pink left. Drain off any excess grease and place it into the bottom of a 6 to 8-quart slow cooker.
Addย 2 celery stalks, small diced,ย 2 cups frozen peppers and onions,ย 2 (15 ounce) cans tomato sauce,ย 2 (14.5 ounce) cans stewed tomatoes,ย 16 ounce can dark red kidney beans, undrained,ย 15 ounce can chili beans in sauce, undrained,ย 10 ounce can diced tomatoes and green chilies, undrained,ย 1 cup low-sodium beef broth,ย 1.25 ounce packet chili seasoning,ย 1 Tablespoon granulated sugar,ย 1 Tablespoon white vinegar,ย 2 teaspoons garlic powder,ย 2 teaspoons onion powder,ย 1 teaspoon black pepperย andย 1 teaspoon kosher salt. Stir well to combine.
Place the top on and cook on low heat for 6-8 hours or high 4-5 hours. Stir every so often if you are able to. Serve with your favorite toppings, such as cheese, sour cream, and saltine crackers.
