I think part of why this feels harder now is because now i’m aware. Before, I wasn’t thinking about any of this. I wasn’t trying to hear Him, I wasn’t trying to follow Him, I wasn’t questioning every decision. But now I am. Now I know who He is, at least in part. I know what He’s capable of, I know the way He can move, I know He’s personal. So naturally, I started expecting that same level of clarity all the time.

But relationships don’t really work like that. In the beginning everything feels new, it feels exciting, it feels like you finally found something real. But then there’s a shift where it’s not just about finding Him anymore, it’s about walking with Him. It’s slower and requires more from you. It’s kind of like learning a language, at first you recognize a few words and it feels amazing, like you’re finally understanding something. But then you try and have a full conversation with someone and you realize how much you don’t know. And now you have to keep showing up, keep listening, keep learning how to recognize His voice in a way that isn’t always clear. And I think that’s the part where the relationship becomes real.. When you stay even when it doesn’t feel as obvious anymore.

... Read moreFrom my own spiritual journey, I've found that learning to trust God without clear direction is one of the most profound yet challenging experiences. Initially, like many, I expected constant, unmistakable signs that would guide every step. However, I quickly realized that faith often requires patience and perseverance during times of uncertainty. Trusting God in moments of unclear direction doesn’t mean passivity. Instead, it’s about actively listening through prayer, meditation, and reading scripture, allowing one’s heart to be open to subtle guidance that may not be immediately obvious. Like the process of learning a new language, the beginning stages are thrilling when you catch a word or phrase, but the true mastery comes from persistent practice and immersion. I've also learned that moments of doubt and silence are opportunities for spiritual growth rather than failure. They challenge me to deepen my reliance on God’s presence, even when not overtly felt. This deeper trust transforms faith from mere feeling to a committed relationship, one that continues even when direction feels obscure. This journey aligns well with the idea shared here: that following God is less about instant clarity and more about continual walking together. It’s a beautiful, evolving relationship that demands patience and devotion. For anyone feeling lost or unsure, remember that staying present and open to God’s movement, even when unclear, is where true transformation happens. I encourage others to embrace this journey, sharing their own stories and supporting each other in faith communities, as these connections often reveal new perspectives and encouragement on the path.

Why I picked my Major
I decided my second semester of senior year that I was going to go to college. I hated the idea of more school, but knew I wanted to do more with myself than just work in a factory. My advisor suggested Supply Chain Management because the student who had previously majored in it had great success.
