I know so many of us believe in God and are doing our own things. It’s so easy to get lost in this world and get off track. Let’s get back on track with God. Here are some tips how.💜
✝️ Get in your bible. The Bible can be so refreshing and fueling. Spending time with God that way helps you to learn more about God and how to live your life in a righteous way. The Bible has endless knowledge and verses on everything we go through in life. Don’t be surprised when you suddenly more wise.🥰
✝️ Listen to gospel music. This is another awesome way to get your mind on track and spend time with God. Music has a lot of influence and gospel music is the healthiest of them all. We have to protect our ear gates and what we allow ourselves to listen too. You can never ever go wrong with praise and worship! 😍
✝️ Get involved. Try going to church when you can or you can even watch online but in person is the best if you have that option. Find a church the that is perfect for you and don’t give up! You’ll love the experience especially if it’s a good, friendly and welcoming congregation. 💕
✝️ Community! Try making friends with your bothers and sisters in Christ. Everybody needs somebody and we can’t do it alone. The walk is a much easier when you have someone to do it with. You guys can plan dates and hold each other accountable. Surround yourself with people seeking the same goal. A connection and relationship with God. This is so healthy 🌱✨
✝️ Pray. Pray to God. Vent to him, talk to him share your worries. Praying doesn’t have to be hard. Just talk to him like you’re having a regular conversation. Lay your worries to rest by talking to God about it. Cast your cares on him. Tell him all your desires and weaknesses. Ask for help and assistance. He knows you, he loves you and he sees your efforts through everything you are going through. Even crying to God helps. Let him know he is welcomed in your space and plans. Invite him in. Let him know you want to be in his presence.🙏🏼✨❤️‼️
God is always showing mercy to his children. Thank him for that. And if you are not a child of God. Repent, get baptized and become one. It’s the best thing we can ever do in life. He wants you, he wants to help you and he is waiting for you. Thank him for waking you up every day. He is rich in mercy and grace; thank him for that. Show your appreciation by putting in effort. He loves you more than you know. You have a purpose in Christ! Let’s find it 💖🌟
... Read moreHey everyone! Following up on my tips for getting back on track with God, I wanted to dive a little deeper into what 'reconnecting spiritually' truly means and how we can cultivate that feeling even when life gets overwhelming. It's one thing to know what to do, but how to do it consistently and meaningfully can be a whole other challenge.
One thing I've found incredibly impactful, beyond just reading my Bible, is to actively meditate on scripture. It's not just about getting through a chapter, but letting a verse truly sink in. Like when I saw that image of an open Bible with a highlighted verse, it reminded me how personal scripture can become. Try picking one verse that speaks to you and carrying it with you throughout the day, praying it, and thinking about how it applies to your current situation. There are so many great devotionals online or apps that can help guide you through this, making it less daunting to start.
When it comes to prayer, it’s about more than just talking. I've learned that listening is just as important. Sometimes, after I've poured out my heart like the person bowing in prayer in the image, I try to sit in silence for a few minutes, just inviting God to speak to my heart. Journaling my prayers has also been a game-changer. It helps me organize my thoughts, track my spiritual growth, and often, I can see patterns or answers to prayers I might have otherwise forgotten. It’s a wonderful way to cultivate a deeper, more reflective spiritual life.
Another powerful way I’ve reconnected is through intentional gratitude. Every morning, before I even get out of bed, I try to think of three things I'm genuinely thankful for. This simple practice shifts my perspective and helps me recognize God's blessings, even in small things. It truly helps me get back on track mentally and spiritually, reminding me that His goodness is always present.
And speaking of community, it’s not just about having friends in church. It’s about having spiritual accountability partners. These are the people who will pray with you, challenge you to grow, and celebrate your faith journey. They can help you stay engaged and remind you of your purpose, especially when you feel like drifting. Seeing that crowd worshipping with raised hands and a glowing cross in the image just reinforces how powerful collective worship and support can be.
Finally, if you're truly ready for a fresh start or to deepen your commitment, consider the significance of baptism. For me, it was a powerful public declaration of my faith and a symbol of washing away the old and embracing a new life in Christ. It's a profound step in aligning your spirit with God's will and reinforcing that desire to get back on track spiritually. It’s a beautiful way to mark a new chapter in your walk with Him. These small, consistent efforts really add up to a vibrant, living connection with God.
