i hit these NYC spots every christmas🎅🏼 🎄

i try to visit all these spots in december to keep my spirits alive and my seasonal depression away!

🎄the one that every one knows: 2017 Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree - i usually go during the day time so there’s less crowds and hit some shopping on 5th Ave (love the Aritzia there but never go because it’s always packed 🛍️)

🏗️the Bryant Park Winter Village is a good choice for some fresh food/dinner, there are also tons of small businesses to support every year with innovative designs

(if you decide to skip the Rockefeller Tree because of the chaos, there’s also a tree inside Bryant Park; killing 2 birds with 1 stone)

💡Radio City Music Hall for the Christmas Spectacular - the Rockettes, the music, the costumes! peak new york city winter vibe

🍷lastly, a late night vibe at Oscar Wilde - the festive decorations & the delicious drinks to send the night!!!

... Read moreVisiting New York City during the Christmas season is truly a magical experience that combines festive decorations, joyful events, and unique local culture. The Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree has been the centerpiece of holiday celebrations for decades, drawing crowds with its stunning lights and towering presence. Visiting during the daytime as suggested helps avoid large crowds, making the experience more peaceful and enjoyable. Plus, 5th Avenue nearby offers incredible holiday window displays, perfect for some seasonal shopping or just soaking up the decorated atmosphere. Aritzia on 5th Avenue is a trendy shopping spot, but it does tend to get very crowded, so timing your visit can enhance the experience. The Bryant Park Winter Village is another must-see destination featuring charming chalets with handcrafted gifts, delicious food options, and a festive ice skating rink. It supports many small businesses each year, offering innovative and unique designs that make excellent holiday gifts. For those who find the Rockefeller chaos overwhelming, Bryant Park also offers its own beautiful Christmas tree for a cozy alternative. One of the highlights of the NYC winter season is the Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular. This iconic show features the Rockettes, spectacular costumes, and timeless music that perfectly capture the spirit of a New York winter holiday. It's an experience full of energy and grandeur that's ideal for families and visitors who want to enjoy authentic seasonal entertainment. Finally, end your festive day with a visit to Oscar Wilde, a late-night hotspot decked out in holiday décor offering delicious, festive cocktails. This venue adds a sophisticated yet welcoming vibe, perfect for unwinding after a day filled with holiday activities. Altogether, these stops not only help lift spirits and keep seasonal blues at bay but also offer a genuine taste of New York City’s Christmas charm. Whether you’re into sightseeing, shopping, entertainment, or nightlife, these spots provide a well-rounded holiday itinerary full of joy and festive traditions. Planning a December trip around these locales can create lasting memories and truly immerse you in the best of NYC’s holiday season.
