#mildsoap to cleanse the face. IKIK they say soap dries out the skin, but you need to cleanse deeper than those face wipes. And If you swear by the wipes; use them to remove as much makeup/ product as possible then wash your face with soap.
#whitewashcloths only to wash your face with. No colored cloths is use on my face. Extra tip: No washcloth you use for your body should be used on your face.
#witchhazel is a natural toner and astringent. Use it directly after washing your face with cotton pads or cotton balls; not with your fingers, not with a paper towel or tissue, and not with a washcloth.
#faceserum find you a lightweight serum to sleep in, so when you wake up and wash your face, it is left dewy, plump, and acne free.
Please Note: My suggestions are what I use and how I take care of my skin. I am not claiming my routine is the best or right for everyone. I am simply sharing what works for me and sharing my thoughts/ opinions on what to use and what not to use. 😉

... Read moreFrom my personal experience, I’ve found that paying attention to the type of cleanser and materials I use on my face makes a huge difference in skin texture and clarity. For example, using a mild soap rather than harsh cleansers or relying solely on makeup wipes really helps cleanse pores more deeply without stripping moisture. What’s also helped is strictly using white washcloths just for the face; colored cloths sometimes carry dyes that can irritate sensitive skin. Separate cloths for body and face prevent transferring bacteria and oils that can cause breakouts.
Adding witch hazel as a natural toner has been a game-changer for me. It tightens pores and reduces inflammation without drying the skin, but I always use cotton pads rather than rubbing it in with fingers or tissues, as gentleness matters.
At night, I apply a lightweight face serum that hydrates without clogging pores. Waking up to skin that feels plump and subtle dewy can boost confidence tremendously. And, of course, never underestimate the power of good hydration—drinking enough water daily supports skin health from within and complements topical care.
One more thing I learned is makeup should enhance your skin’s natural glow rather than mask it. Choosing products that mimic skin’s texture makes a subtle but noticeable difference. Everyone’s skin is unique, so experimenting with these tips gently until you find what fits your skin type best is key.
I invite others to share their routines or tips that keep their skin healthy—sometimes a personal touch or small habit can make a big difference in skin care success.
