During my visits to Le Bistrot du Sommelier, I was impressed by not only the taste but also the generous portion sizes that made each meal deeply satisfying. The restaurant’s cozy ambiance makes you feel as if you're dining in a French family’s kitchen rather than a typical restaurant. Among the standout dishes, the Pan Roasted Neck with Wild Mushroom Cream Sauce is incredibly tender and flavorful, complementing the cozy vibe. One thing I appreciate about this gem is the balance between casual dining and quality French cuisine — making it accessible for both casual meals and special occasions. Besides the classics like Lobster Bisque Soup and the Grilled Octopus with Squid Ink Rice, I highly recommend trying the Poulet Rôti, a French-style oven roasted chicken that marries simplicity with exquisite taste. Dessert lovers will find the Grand Marnier Soufflé unforgettable — soft, fluffy, and perfectly paired with vanilla ice cream for a sweet, warm ending. The atmosphere, combined with well-executed French recipes and generous portions, truly sets this bistro apart. Plus, the staff’s friendly recommendations and attention to detail enhance the whole dining experience. If you’re in Singapore and looking for authentic French cuisine with a comfortable, homely touch, Le Bistrot du Sommelier is definitely worth visiting. It’s not just about food — it’s about experiencing the warmth and heart of French home cooking in every bite.
