The short 15-minute train ride to Islands of Adventure proved efficient, and both parks offered thrilling rides and fantastic dining options like Hard Rock Cafe and Universal CityWalk. Day 2’s outdoor adventures at Kelly Park/Rock Springs were a refreshing change of pace. The natural springs provided a beautiful spot for kayaking and swimming. Later, the Winter Park Scenic Boat Tour showcased charming lakeside homes and wildlife, adding a peaceful touch to the trip. Exploring Park Avenue’s shops and dining gave me a taste of local culture and art, culminating in a visit to the Charles Hosmer Morse Museum, famous for its extensive Tiffany glass collection. Day 3’s focus on Disney's EPCOT and the World Showcase allowed me to taste international cuisine and experience different cultures all in one place. Near the park, the Orlando Science Center was surprisingly engaging with interactive exhibits perfect for families. Later, a quiet walk in Lake Eola Park and the vibrant Thornton Park neighborhood provided an ideal way to wind down the day. On the final day, Disney’s Animal Kingdom was a wildlife adventure highlight, especially the Pandora – The World of Avatar area with its futuristic landscape. A visit to ICON Park’s The Wheel gave me panoramic views of Orlando’s skyline, and the Museum of Illusions nearby was a fun, interactive stop worth the two-minute walk. Shopping at Orlando International Premium Outlets capped the trip, offering great deals before heading to the airport.
