Rainy season in Boracay? Yes or No?
Absolutely YES! It means cheaper rooms & flights plus not as many people but of course maybe rain. Things to know:
1. Where you stay in Boracay matters. We preferred station Three. Less crowded, more intimate restaurants. Short walk to busy areas but away enough to avoid the noise
2. Loved @Villa Camilla Boracay beautiful beachfront boutique hotel. Great rooms, food, staff, views. Rainy season meant we could upgrade to a beach front room including breakfast.
3. We used a transfer company to meet us at Caticlan airport and handle the full transfer process to our accomodation on Boracay - including: transfer in private mini bus from airport to ferry, buy ferry tickets and help us onto ferry, then collect us from the ferry wharf in Boracay & transfer us right to our hotel, that meant an over-sand trolly transfer of our luggage when we got to Boracay beach (it would have been a long walk from the road to hotel without it. Made trip so much easier!
4. Rainy season can mean typhoons, be prepared to have planes or ferries cancelled due to bad weather. A smooth arrival is key, especially when the weather is unpredictable. Using a transfer service from Caticlan airport made our trip hassle-free, handling everything from ferry tickets to the over-sand trolley transfer to the hotel. This saved us a lot of effort, especially when carrying luggage in wet conditions. Keep in mind, rainy season means there’s always a chance of typhoons or travel delays. It’s smart to have flexible plans and stay updated on weather forecasts. Don’t let a bit of rain hold you back—Boracay’s beauty shines through even in the wet season.
