To stay safe, I always ride defensively. This means anticipating that other drivers might not check their mirrors or blind spots properly. Riding as if you're invisible pushes you to be extra cautious—signaling early, staying out of blind spots, reducing your speed when approaching intersections, and always maintaining a safe distance from other vehicles.
