I didn’t expected to see these cuties🌸
Gosh, Vancouver 🇨🇦 is know to be a dog city, but it’s always fascinating to meet cool non-dog pets🤍 Since I’m an adventure cat, pawrents got better at spotting cats and sometimes unusual exotic animals 😸
What kind of non-dog pets have you seen before?

Meeting a ferret while exploring Vancouver was definitely a highlight of my pet adventures this summer. Ferrets are fascinating little creatures with their playful and curious nature, which is quite different from the typical pets people expect to come across. Despite my initial confusion and even an accidental hiss, this chill ferret quickly made me appreciate how diverse pet companions can be. In addition to ferrets, I encountered various adventurous cats roaming the city streets and festivals, showing their independent yet friendly spirits. One British Shorthair I met was incredibly calm and seemed to enjoy the street event vibes, which made me wonder if this breed is naturally chill or if this was a special case. I also spotted a bearded dragon volunteering at a street festival with its owner, which was a fascinating sight! It’s rare to see reptiles participating in such social events, adding to the rich variety of pets I encountered. These experiences taught me that pet diversity in Vancouver goes beyond dogs, highlighting how pet owners and their unique companions make the city vibrant and welcoming. I encourage others to look out for these unusual pets and embrace the surprises they bring to everyday adventures.
