Looking For Positive Criticism 💗🎀

1/18 Edited to

... Read moreTrying out different makeup styles can be both exciting and intimidating, especially when comparing your first attempts to your ideal inspirations. I remember my first time experimenting with makeup—it was a mixture of trial and error, sometimes not turning out as envisioned. The image comparison showcasing "THE MAKEUP I WOULD LIKE TO DO VS.... THE MAKEUP I'VE DONE FOR THE FIRST TIME" resonates with many beginners who strive to improve. One helpful tip I found along the way is to focus on mastering the basics first, such as blending eyeshadow and choosing the right foundation tone, before moving on to more intricate looks like those seen at fashion events such as NYFW. Positive feedback helps build confidence; try sharing your work with supportive communities who offer constructive and uplifting criticism. Using hashtags like #immaturebeauty and #prettygirlmakeup connects you with others exploring similar aesthetics and challenges. It’s inspiring to see how far you can progress with patience and practice. Remember, each attempt is a valuable step toward achieving the 2016 aesthetic or any look you desire. Embrace your makeup journey with an open mind and kindness toward yourself—growth is beautiful in every phase.

Very good job!! Try not to make the base(foundation) look cakey(same with concealer) normally I use a damp sponge applied foundation/concealer evenly then go in with a foundation brush, if you want a matte finish! (Hint: kinda use more product for that matte look)
