Day 1 in Hangzhou! We stopped by our fave Paradise Walk mall in Binjiang, and the kids went all out at PopMart and the Lego store. Finally got to try 大董北京烤鸭. Definitely a bit pricier than other spots here, but so worth it! 🦆✨
If you're planning a family trip to Hangzhou, Paradise Walk mall in Binjiang is definitely a must-visit destination. The mall offers a fantastic mix of activities perfect for kids, with PopMart being one of the coolest spots where children can explore trendsetting collectibles and characters. The nearby Lego store is another great draw for families, offering engaging play experiences that spark creativity. Aside from shopping and entertainment, the mall's dining options stand out. We were excited to try 大董北京烤鸭, which, while a little more expensive than typical local eateries, delivers an exceptional Beijing duck experience that’s worth every penny. Knowing this was a splurge made the meal feel like a special occasion — something great to do when traveling with family. Apart from Paradise Walk, Hangzhou offers many kid-friendly attractions. If you have time, explore the scenic West Lake area and nearby parks, which are perfect for outdoor family fun and photo opportunities. For a cultural touch, visiting other interactive spots like hubs in In77 or Hubin Yintai can also keep kids entertained while adults enjoy shopping and the city vibe. Lastly, capturing moments like this family outing often brings back sweet memories. Whether it's a thumbs up to a delicious meal or candid smiles in the mall, these experiences make traveling with children so rewarding. So, pack accordingly, plan for both fun and relaxation, and Hangzhou will surely surprise and delight your whole family.
