Really Better Than OCK × McDonald’s? 👀
After trying the OCK × McDonald’s collab, obviously we had to see what KFC was cooking up too. 😂
And honestly? This was better than we expected.
🫓 Crispy Prata + Curry Pour Tub
They weren’t kidding about the crispy part.
The outside had a really satisfying crisp while the inside remained chewy, almost reminding us more of 葱油饼 (scallion pancake) than your usual prata.
But the curry was what surprised us.
It tasted similar to the comforting curry you’d get at a Mamak supper spot, AND there were actual pieces of potato inside! 🥔
The potato added another layer of texture, while the prata soaked up the curry beautifully with every dip.
🌶️ Sambal Chicken
The sambal had a nice kick without being overwhelmingly spicy.
KFC chicken is already fragrant and well-seasoned on its own, but dipping that crispy, juicy chicken into the sambal added a completely different dimension of flavour.
Spicy + savoury + juicy chicken?
Hard to complain. 😂
