my best sydney stay yet 🏘️

just last year i had the opportunity to go back to one of my ultimate fav countries to be in (tho sadly it’s for work), but it was no doubt one of the best stays so far.

definitely not gate keeping this!!

booked it on the airbnb site, accommodating to 8 of us for a good 5 days stay.

this house is located in hunters hill by our welcoming host, Milan - consisting of 3 storeys including a basement garage.

1st storey: main entrance, living & dining area with an open-concept kitchen, wine-cellar corner and a huge backyard with an outdoor sink, dining area and bbq pit. also has one bedroom and a bathroom that could accommodate 2 pax.

2nd storey: 4 bedrooms that could accommodate 8 pax, with 1 bedroom including a master bathroom, and a common bathroom right outside at the common space with a bath tub.

basement: basically a garage space and where the laundry machines are at. you’ll be able to do your laundry freely with all the laundry supplies. and the garage was spacious enough to freely accommodate 2 family cars (we rented 2 so it fit both perfectly).

it was honestly an enjoyable stay for all of us despite us traveling to sydney for work. but at the end of the day, this place provided us a good and vibrant space for everyone to chill and relax comfortably after a long day (since the shops outside closes pretty early). you’ll never be able to feel bored in it as it has plenty of entertainment and space for indoor activities.

will i stay here again? hands down i will!! to add on, the hosts were extremely friendly and assisted us in every way possible. whatever kind of supplies you may need are all there as well, so you’ll never be lacking of anything at all.

location: 10/10 (pretty safe and quiet neighborhood, and it was a decent driving distance to the city area and the beach)

staff service: - (unfortunately we didn’t get to see them in person but they were really responsive and friendly!!)

room service: 10/10 (they had everything available)

cleanliness: 10/10 (really clean and dust-free, everything was well tidied and of course we left them in the same condition)

so if you’re traveling to sydney anytime soon with a group of up to 10, do consider this place. you’ll love it for sure!!

... Read moreDuring my stay at this remarkable Hunters Hill Airbnb, I realized how important the right accommodation is when traveling with a group. The 3-storey layout offered us remarkable privacy and communal spaces that encouraged bonding without crowding. Having an open-concept kitchen along with a wine-cellar corner added a touch of luxury and made cooking and relaxing more enjoyable after busy workdays in Sydney. One feature I truly appreciated was the backyard with an outdoor sink, dining area, and BBQ pit. It provided a perfect setting for evening gatherings, allowing us to unwind and share meals in fresh air. The hosts were exceptionally helpful and responsive, ensuring our needs were met and supplying everything from laundry detergents to kitchen essentials, which made the entire stay hassle-free. The location deserves special mention: a quiet, safe neighborhood that still allowed easy access to both the city center and beaches by a reasonable drive. This balance of tranquility and convenience significantly enhanced our experience, especially since shops closed early nearby. For group travelers visiting Sydney, especially for work or leisure lasting several days, this Airbnb offers an outstanding combination of comfort, functionality, and hospitality. With room for up to 10 guests, clean and tidy rooms, and extras like multiple bathrooms including a master with bath tub, it’s a rare find that I would recommend wholeheartedly and definitely choose again.
