1) Scene Intelligent Auto Mode📸
•brightness, flash, and color tone are automatically adjusted according to the scene you’re shooting
•the user does not need to adjust the settings
•just point and shoot!
•perfect to practice taking photos on
•quick for capturing in the moment photos
2) Manual Exposure Mode📸
•allows you to adjust camera settings for each individual shot (which part of the image is in focus, depth, etc.)
•great for landscape photography
•taking close-ups of people or objects
•perfect for low light photography or back lit photos
•i use this when natural lighting isn’t the best

🎞️1/4000
• this is the shutter speed
•you can adjust this # to convey the subject is in motion
🎞️ F5.6
•this is the aperture
•aperture is the opening in your camera lens that allows light through
•adjusting this controls the area that is currently in focus
🎞️ISO 1600
•stands for International Organization for Standardization
•ISO refers to the cameras sensitivity to light (relative to the subject & ambient brightness)
•a higher ISO indicates greater sensitivity (brighter images in low light conditions)
🎞️-3..2..1..0..1..2..+3
•this is the Auto Exposure Bracket, or AEB
•automatically shoots with different exposures
•think of this as a number scale, with each number being a different exposure of light on camera
🎞️A (with firework looking symbol next to it)
•this is for image effects that suit the subject or scene
•mine is on automatic as pictured above
🎞️AWB
•stands for Auto White Balance
•adjusts the temperature of final image
•ensures there are natural colors under specific types of lighting
🎞️symbol of a person with the word “off” next to it
•for auto correcting the images brightness and contrast
•mine is currently disabled in the photos above
•the user can enable or disable this to their liking
🎞️arrow symbol with “up” next to it
•for raising the cameras built in flash
•on my camera there is a separate button where you can enable or disable to built in flash
•most of the photos shown above had the flash in use
🎞️ONE SHOT
•function for camera to take one photo at a time
•can be changed to take multiple consecutive shots
•best suited for subjects in motion
🎞️rectangle symbol
•represents single shooting
•user can set up single or continuous shooting
•this is where you can also set a self timer for photos
🎞️rectangle with circle symbol
•subject brightness
•user can choose how the subject brightness is measured
🎞️RAW+L
•stands for image size and quality of photo
•can be changed based on orientation of photo
•horizontal or vertical shots
