Garden haul

Oh my goodness, you guys! Today was one of those days that makes all the weeding and tending totally worth it – I just had the most amazing garden haul! There’s nothing quite like stepping out into your own backyard, basket in hand, and picking fresh produce that you’ve nurtured from seed. It’s such a rewarding feeling, and I wanted to share my excitement (and what I found!) with all of you. This time, my garden haul was bursting with vibrant colors and delicious potential. I managed to get a fantastic yield of juicy, ripe tomatoes – perfect for a summer salad or a fresh batch of salsa that will definitely be a hit. My zucchini plants are going wild, as usual, so I picked a few medium-sized ones that are just right for grilling or making some wholesome zucchini bread to share. And the peppers! Oh, the peppers. I have a wonderful mix of sweet bell peppers and some mild poblanos, which I’m already dreaming of stuffing with cheese and rice. It's truly a GARDEN HAUL to remember, and everything looks so fresh and ready for cooking! I always try to harvest early in the morning after the dew has dried, when the produce is at its crispest and sweetest – it really makes a difference in flavor! And don't forget to use clean clippers or a sharp knife to avoid damaging the plant, which actually encourages more growth for future hauls!
