It's known for supporting heart health, improving athletic performance due to its natural nitrates, and even aiding in detoxification. Imagine getting all these benefits in a delicious, naturally carbonated drink! It's a fantastic alternative to store-bought sodas, and you know exactly what goes into it. The magic behind this fizz is the ginger bug. If you're new to this, a ginger bug is essentially a starter culture made from ginger, sugar, and water that ferments over a few days. It's teeming with beneficial bacteria and yeasts, which are what give your soda its natural carbonation and distinctive tangy flavor.
