I need love advice for a guy I liked in third grade

#😭😝

So his nickname was OJ and and I really REALLY liked him and we both bonded over a song who we knew by heart!❤️ 💙💜♥️💕

Anyway I got a grudge one day and literally contacted like 10 people and finally got his number!!🎉🥳

So my problem is I don’t know what to say to him like it’s been almost 4 years since I last saw him

This is where I need ur help could u possibly give me some ideas of what to say so it’s not so awkward 😬

... Read moreReconnecting with someone you liked years ago can feel both exciting and nerve-wracking. Since you've bonded before over a special song and have finally got his number, a great way to start is by reminding him of that shared memory—it creates a natural and warm entry point. For example, you could text something like, "Hey OJ! I was just thinking about that song we both loved back in third grade. It still brings back great memories! How have you been?" This approach is casual, sweet, and opens the door for him to respond without pressure. It's also important to keep your messages light and genuine. Since it’s been almost four years, updating each other about what’s new in your lives can also help rebuild the connection gradually. You might share a bit about what you've been up to, then ask him similar questions. Avoid overwhelming him with too many questions or intense feelings right away. Let the conversation flow naturally. If he’s interested, he will engage and possibly rekindle your friendship or more. Finally, patience and confidence are key. From personal experience, being yourself and showing authentic interest makes the biggest impact. And remember, even if it feels awkward at first, taking the first step to reach out is courageous and commendable. Enjoy the process of rediscovering your friendship with OJ!
