Cosplay update ♡
This isn't my normal post but I wanted to show my cosplay update. I'm going as Emberlynn Pinkle in December for Galaxycon. I handmade her pendant out of clay and it opens. I'm going to put a picture of Blitzø in it 😂

Hey everyone! Getting ready for Galaxycon is such a journey, and I’m so excited to share more behind the scenes of bringing Emberlynn Pinkle from Helluva Boss to life. My original post touched on the pendant, but let's dive deeper into how I crafted this little piece of magic! For her iconic winged star pendant, I started with simple white clay pieces. This was my first time trying to make something that actually opens, so it was a fun challenge! I sculpted the main circular shape first, then carefully added the distinct pink border and the delicate white wings with yellow outlines that frame the bright yellow star. The trickiest part was hollowing out the two halves so they could fit together neatly, creating that miniature locket effect. I used a small sculpting tool to get the precise details, making sure the wings had that recognizable Helluva Boss style. Once the clay was dry, I painted it with acrylics and added a clear sealant for durability – you wouldn't want your pendant chipping on the con floor! This method could totally work for other intricate cosplay props too, if you're thinking of making your own. Beyond the pendant, truly embodying Emberlynn Pinkle means capturing her whole vibe. She's got that edgy yet charming Helluva Boss aesthetic, right? I'm focusing on getting her signature black hoodie just right, paired with a vibrant pink plaid skirt. Details like her spiked choker (if I decide to add it) and even her attitude are important. When I'm planning a character's look, I always look at multiple fanart pieces and official references to get a full picture. It helps me decide which elements are crucial and where I can add a personal touch without losing the character's essence. For anyone trying to cosplay a character with a distinct style, paying attention to the small but impactful accessories makes all the difference! Speaking of conventions, Galaxycon is going to be amazing, and I'm already thinking about the full cosplay experience. If you’re also heading to a big event, here are a few tips I've picked up: Always wear comfortable shoes – your feet will thank you after hours of walking! Pack a mini emergency kit with safety pins, a small sewing kit, super glue, and makeup for touch-ups. Hydration is key, so bring a water bottle or plan to grab drinks. And most importantly, remember to have fun, take breaks, and say hello to other cosplayers! It's such a supportive community. I hope this deeper dive into my Emberlynn Pinkle cosplay journey gives you some inspiration for your own projects. Whether you're crafting a detailed prop or putting together an entire outfit, every handmade piece makes your cosplay truly unique. Can't wait to share the full look in December!
