Conestoga College!! John Tibbits president of Conestoga College appeared before the federal standing committee on citizenship and immigration on Thursday to defend the college's intake of international students.

He was challenged by the MPs about the college's role in increasing international student enrolment, while at the same time intensifying housing shortages, youth unemployment, and strains on community services in Waterloo region. The college has campuses in six cities including Kitchener.
