I used to feel guilty resting.

Like I hadn’t earned it.

Like I needed to crash to justify slowing down.

But here’s what I’ve learned:

Rest isn’t what you do when everything is done—

It’s what helps you heal, focus, and show up as yourself again.

Rest looks like:

• Saying “no” without guilt

• Taking a walk without your phone

• Breathing deeply for 2 minutes before replying

• Going to bed on time, not just crashing

• Letting your nervous system exhale

You don’t have to prove your exhaustion to deserve rest.

You just have to need it.
